Smugglers' Notch Summer Outdoor Activities

Smugglers' Notch Resort is famous for its endless choice of activities. There is something to do around every corner, and the best part is, you don't have to leave the Resort or even get in your car. Everything is just a stone's throw away. There are resort activities for all age groups and all interests. Rest assured, the kids will never say "I'm bored"! Take your pick:

Tennis:

8 outdoor clay courts and 2 outdoor hard courts. Tons of structured tennis programs for adults and kids, and tennis court time for non program goers as well. 4 courts are lit for night tennis.

Golf, Mini Golf & Disc Golf:

Onsite you'll find a driving range, golf clinics, and private instruction. Woodland Mini Golf is great fun for the whole family. Smugglers' also features its very own 18 hole Disc Golf Course- known as Frisbee Golf- spread over 10 acres.. Nearby 18 hole courses are Stowe Country Club and Vermont National Country Club.

Mountain Boarding, Digglering, BikeBoarding & Biking:

Supervised instruction is available. Mountain Boarding is a mix of skateboarding and snowboarding on wheels. Gigglering is a mix of mountain biking and skateboarding on a large scooter. BikeBoarding is a mix of mountain biking and skateboarding on a big 3 wheeled scooter. It's our guess that your young teens will just love these! Prefer straight up mountain biking? Rentals and tours are available!

Skate Park:

All the essentials a skate park should have plus camps, clinics and lessons.

Dogsledding on Wheels:

It's exactly what it sounds like. The guided tour comes complete with a meet and greet with the dogs and optional swim time.

Llama Treks:

3 hour tour complete with a picnic carried by your new furry friends.

Rock Climbing:

Options range from no experience necessary to advanced skills. Both open climb and supervised climbs available.

Segway Tours & Geocaching:

A Segway is a self balancing personal transportation vehicle, on two wheels that is becoming a popular commuting device in cities across the country. Now you can experience it in Vermont. Beginner and advanced tours available. Geocaching is another trendy new "sport" using a GPS devise to find the hidden "treasures".

Canoeing & Kayaking:

Rentals available for you to go out and explore on your own or choose from several different guided tours that combine other activities such as ice cream, wine, and wildlife.

Fishing:

Fly Fishing clinics and tours available along with shore fishing and small mouth bass fishing.

Biking:

Rentals available. Explore the mountain at your own pace on paths, marked trails, or roads.
